Introduction

Day 01: Arrival in Leh

Arrival at Leh Airport, where our representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and rest for the day to acclimatize to the high altitude. Welcome tea or coffee will be served at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Local Sightseeing (Sham Valley)

After breakfast visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Continue your sightseeing to Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and witness the famous Sangam of Zanskar & Indus Rivers.
Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley (125 km / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, via Khardung La Pass (18,390 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-covered mountains along the way. After reaching Nubra Valley, check in to your hotel/camp.

Later visit Diskit Monastery and the famous 108 ft Maitreya Buddha Statue. Continue to Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride (direct payment basis).

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra

After breakfast drive to Turtuk Village, which was opened to tourists in 2010. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic region.

Turtuk is a beautiful Balti village where locals speak Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. It is also one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier.

Visit Balti Heritage House & Museum and Turtuk Waterfalls. Later visit Thang Village (Zero Point), the northernmost village near the Line of Control (LOC) where the Pakistan border is just 2.2 km away. From here you can see both Indian and Pakistani army bunkers.

Return back to Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (165 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route through villages like Agyam, Shyok and Durbuk.

Arrive at Pangong Lake, located at 14,000 ft, one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the Himalayas. Visit the famous 3 Idiots movie shooting point and explore the lakeside area.

Enjoy the mesmerizing color-changing waters of Pangong Lake and witness the beautiful sunset.
Overnight stay in Pangong.

Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh (155 km / 5 hrs)

Early morning enjoy the stunning sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass.

On the way visit Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and Thiksey Monastery, one of the most beautiful monasteries in Ladakh.

Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery belonging to the Drukpa Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism, famous for its ancient paintings, thangkas and historic artifacts.

Arrive in Leh and check in to the hotel.

Day 07: Departure from Leh

Early morning transfer to Leh Airport to board your flight back to your destination. Your journey ends with beautiful memories of Ladakh.
